Week 1
Day 1 Starting weight: 212.6 lbs
Day 7 weigh-in: 209.8 lbs
Average weight: 212.06 lbs
Guess I was rather full on that first way in. My digestive system cleaned out during the week after eating quite a bit cleaner and less food. The first week of this cut was challenging, but not so much because of the new diet. The man that was like a second grandfather to me passed away January 5th, and I attended his service the following Thursday as well as his funeral on Friday.
Week 2

Day 8 weigh-in: 210.8 lbs
Day 14 weigh-in: 211.2 lbs
Average weight: 209.31 lbs
2.7 lbs down
This week I decided I was going to change my diet plan. I went from cooking multiple meals a day, to prepping more basic meals based on a meal plan I have created for myself. It’s rather simplistic with chicken, rice, flank steak, mixed veggies, broccoli, potatoes, etc. Six meals a day, breakfast, snack 1, lunch, snack 2, dinner, snack 3. It’s true that you don’t have to starve yourself to see progress, THANK GOD.
My dad texted me Wednesday morning.
“… apparently I had a minor stroke. I feel fine, so please don’t worry. I’ll update you later. Love you very much.”
My father

That was hard to process, we laid my grandpa to rest the prior week, now my father could have passed away this week, or at least had a major event impacting us for life.
What a way to start 2019.
Cut 2019 is still going to happen.
One day at a time, one pound at a time. I will accomplish this, and it shall better me.
